On February 26, 1968, an information was filed in Yellowstone County, charging the appellant, Charlene White, with two counts of the sale of narcotics. On September 30, 1968, the appellant was tried and found guilty of both counts. She was subsequently sentenced to 18 months in the state prison at Deer Lodge, Montana.
